Rebecca Helene Hoffmann

Hi, I'm Rebecca Helene Hoffmann! 

I am a documentary photographer and I study photojournalism at DMJX in Aarhus. I am passionate about photojournalism as it is able to create a unique bond between the source and myself. I see it as a privilege to be able to convey other stories and I always think about trust and respect in my work. My main interests are stories of women, mental vulnerability, and the lives of elderly people. Previously, I have attended Odder Højskole, where photography was one of my main subjects. Later, I was invited back to the school as a guest lecturer to teach photojournalism. At DMJX, I volunteer as a photoeditor for the school’s newspaper, Illustreret Bunker. Here I learn to take responsibility for the visual expression of different stories in collaboration with other journalism students.
